A downloadable game for Windows
This is my entry so far for the "My First Game Jam" jam. It's a 2D side scroller with a ninja! Controls are A+D (left/right) Left CTRL/Left Mouse (attack) still working on it, but this is what I have so far. Please leave feedback if you'd like.

Obviously very short at the moment (Assuming I'm not really bad and didn't know where to go after the train), but it's very striking. The art is very good, and the lighting gives it a very polished feel. The music also goes well IMO. One thing I did notice though was that it was sometimes hard to tell what was in the background, and thus you couldn't land on, and what was in the foreground that you could land on, it might be helpful for players to make that clearer.
thank you. Yeah I definitely have to work on getting the cameras view and or something like parallax scrolling to help the player realize where they're going to land. Thanks for the feedback!
All the animations for the main character are pretty slick. I feel uncomfortable jumping and not seeing the ground to know where or what I'm landing on.
Ok thanks! I can adjust the camera tonight I probably got too used to playing so I know where I'm landing. Which would not be the case for a new player.
It's a good start! Only thing I was thinking about is that you don't have any cooldown on taking damage, so if you stand in an enemy you die instantly! Might be worth tweaking, otherwise good job!
Yeah I was about to fix that but time was running out. Will fix it if I decide to work on it more. Thanks for the feedback
